What do i need to send you?
We require at the very least for you to provide us with a tracksheet (see here) along with some reference mp3s of tracks that are similar to what you want. You can provide your own samples and vocals if you want, but this isn't neccesary as a basis to start off.
What do i get once the track is complete?
You will recieve in your client folder, a mastered wav file (unmastered can also be uploaded if needed). This wav file will be in 16bit, 44.1khz unless another format is specified. You will also recieve the parts to the track in zip format, midi files will be presented on request
How quick is your turnaround?
This depends, we prefer not to rush things as this ensures the best finish on the track. Time taken is also dependant on how quick we get feedback back on the preview files. As a rough guide, usually we get things pretty much there in around 5 previews:
preview 1 - basic sound test, we'll lay some sounds down to check we're on the right track
preview 2 - work more on the sounds, do a basic arrangement
preview 3 - add more sounds, start to add more detail
preview 4 - add any extra sounds and details you specify
preview 5 - finish off the track with fx, master the track.
Do you provide a confidential service?
We understand the need for confidentiality, our service is completely invisible. we don't require any credits on the track and we don't publish anything ourselves linking us to your project.
Do you recieve a royalty percentage?
No, you keep all the royalties.
MASTERING
What files do i need to send you?
1. Mixdown the track as well as you can, how well you can do this is all down to experience.
2. Make sure no plugins are on the master channel expect for those that are vital to the mix (if for instance you had a filter on the master, etc). Mainly turn off your eq, compressor and/or limiter.
3. Pull down the master fader and make sure the track is not clipping or going above 0db
4. Export your track to a wav file with the minimum settings of 16bit, 44.1khz
5. upload the file for us via our upload for or via a download site and then email us the link.
What do i get once the track is mastered?
We will upload the wav file to your client folder, this will be provided as a 16bit, 44.khz wav file, unless a different format is specificly asked for.
How quick is your turnaround?
Around 1-2 days.
